David S. Friedman, PhD. has been teaching on Long Island for over 20 years. He has taught 7th through 12th grade and both undergraduate and graduate level courses. Dr. Friedman grew up in Plainview, NY and graduated with his Bachelor of Science from Binghamton University. Dr. Friedman has been a visiting scholar at Columbia University, a guest scientist at Brookhaven National Laboratory, been awarded Phi Delta Kappa Educator of the year, and is a 2 time winner of the Coca Cola Scholars Educator of Distinction Award. He is a life long learner who takes great pride in his students success.

Matthew P. Zausin grew up in Suffolk County, Long Island. He always had a love for science, and the exceptional science teachers that he had growing up helped foster his desire to be a science teacher. After high school, Mr Zausin went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stony Brook University and a Master of Science in Adolescent Education from Dowling College. He has been teaching Regents Chemistry for the past ten years, and he has also served as a Science Research Advisor for the past 9 years. Mr. Zausin has also had experience teaching Living Environment and AP Environmental Science. His passion for science and dedication to his students have assisted him in becoming an outstanding science teacher.
Paul Ryan has taught science for the past 30 years. His experience ranges from Regents Chemistry, Physics, and Living Environment as well as Advanced Placement Chemistry. In addition, Paul has served as the Science Department Chairperson for ten years. He received his B.S. in Engineeering Chemistry and M.A. in Waste Management from Stony Brook University and a post graduate certificate in educational administration. Paul has taught various science review crash courses during the school year and throughout the summer in addition to private tutoring. He enjoys hiking in our National Parks and taking road trips with his family. Paul currently resides in Ronkonkoma with his wife Frances and three children.
